Beginning this year, we want to celebrate that resilience in the next generation. Undergraduate and graduate students now have the opportunity to apply for BANA LAW’s Resilience in Action Scholarship, worth $2,500.
You have until April 15, 2026, to complete the application form on this page, as well as an essay going into detail about a significant challenge you’ve overcome.
The scholarship selection committee with BANA LAW will read each essay and choose a winner within three months of the scholarship’s submission deadline.

The team with BANA LAW specifically requests that applicants complete an essay between 500 and 1,000 words addressing the scholarship prompt detailed below. You can upload a copy of your application as a .PDF when completing the application form on this page.
Overcoming adversity is a testament to resilience, strength, and determination. To apply for the Resilience in Action Scholarship, please reflect on a significant challenge you have faced in your life, how it affected you, and the strategies or mindsets you employed to overcome it.
How did this experience shape your personal growth and influence your future goals? Describe the lessons you learned and how they will guide you in achieving success in your academic or professional journey.
To be eligible, please keep your essay between 500 to 1,000 words in length.
When writing an essay for the Resilience in Action Scholarship, make sure you create a catchy, original title. The team also requests that you use in-line citations and a bibliography to keep track of any outside sources you use.
Once you complete your essay and are prepared to submit your application, make sure you save your essay using the following naming convention: “[Scholarship Name and Year] – [Student Name].”
The team with BANA LAW wants students to share their original thoughts and ideas when drafting essays for the Resilience in Action Scholarship. As such, we do not want students to use AI to draft their essays.
The inappropriate use of AI to falsify sources or create an essay not written in your own words will see your application removed from consideration.
You have until April 15, 2026, to complete and submit your scholarship application. The scholarship selection committee with BANA LAW will not consider applications submitted after that deadline passes.
Likewise, make sure you’ve completely filled out your application form and formatted your scholarship essay before submitting your application. The firm cannot consider incomplete applications or applications that don’t address the aforementioned scholarship topic.
We ask that neither you nor your family reach out to BANA LAW with questions about the status of your application after you’ve submitted it for consideration. Unfortunately, our team cannot answer phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication about the scholarship at this time. The scholarship selection committee with BANA LAW reserves between one and three months to sort through the Resilience in Action Scholarship applications and select a winner. Age, race, religion, gender, national origin, familial status, or other protected classes will have no influence on the committee’s decision.
Once the team selects its winner, a representative will reach out to that student and arrange for the scholarship funds to be delivered to their academic institution of choice. Unfortunately, the team cannot notify non-winning students of the winner’s selection. Please keep an eye on the BANA LAW website for a press release and blog post declaring the winner.
